Peter K

Whats up!? You found me, Peter K, kickin it on the internet with a website for my creative projects. Glad to see you here! Leave your comments below and I will get back to you. Thank you so much to all my friends and fans. Years and years have gone by and so many of you have continued to reach out to me…Feels so great and Im truly grateful for you all!

Peter Savant is Peter Kovachevich – whats up with SAVANT?….Im not an arrogant ass calling myself a Savant…I am an idiot savant at best with a very strong emphasis on the idiot part! Peter Savant is just an alter ego pen name that spawned during an Absinthe fueled evening in the studio….Please forgive my machinations!

dam…I remember that show well… It was the last show of the tour (for us) BT threw pies in our face and silly stringed us…So awesome of them. It was an honor to go on tour with Blues Traveler… That experience was incredible… but what the hell were you doing in New Orleans for that Radiator show? small world. You are too kind, thank you for commenting and yes…I will be playing live again soon, Im just trying to sort out a new lineup. Ill keep everyone posted…your awesome!!!!

do you remember playing a show with Blues Traveler around 1993 in Ithaca NY? You were the best band I had ever seen. Fast forward a year or two later, I saw you again in New Orleans with the Radiators during Mardi Gras with your new band ( i forget the name ) blew me away. Any chance of seeing you play live again somewhere? some of the most tingly magical moments ive ever seen live watching you play

Pete, stumbled across your website. I played guitar for Fontaine. We used to open for you guys at Nightingales quite often. Always stuck around for First House, blew me away every time.
Did you ever record any of those Nightingale shows? If so are they available?
    Take care man,

I saw you play once in Colorado with Bobby and Chan, that was the best Blues Traveler side project ever. You goys rocked High Plains Drifters. Any chance that band will ever reunite perhaps with Tad on Bass this time? Do you currently have a band you tour with? I wish Bobby was still alive!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw..such a wonderful surprise to see this comment…Bro, I promise to you and everyone who has been get off my ass and get this music out..I have so much music to put out and new stuff is coming that is about to blow the roof off! Thank you so much for your continued support and love..I feel it and no words can express my gratitude! The neglect of the First House archive is severe…All the shows are sitting in a box on DAT…and the First House record is almost extinct …hard to find..even for — im going to look around at some old boxes and hardrives and see what I can find…I get something to you soon…I promise… Love ya Bro!

    Greetings Pete-
It is me, Jeff O’, and I hope all is well with you. It seems as though you are still (and always) a power of example. You exemplify the gift of the “spiritual like” connection. I can speak only for myself, but I am not alone in my opinion. Very few have the true connection, experience and track record to use the word “alchemy”-but in your case the word might have well been created to describe experiencing your guitar playing. When you are “in the zone”. Sure, you need the swell to carve the wave, and I absolutely give credit to Jino and “the host.” Its wasn’t just the leads and guitar chops-it was the power of the whole First House experience……the “Acid” was in full effect, show after show. Every time. (as you know I’m not referencing hallucinogenics) . I am a music freak- very few things have touched my soul as music has-I still to this day (20 years later) am left in awe when I bust out the cassettes (if/when I can find a deck to play them). You have touched so deeply- you are on a level all your own. I will NEVER forget the spellbinding power of those shows. If I had one night to travel back in time…..there is a good chance it would be to slide into Nightingale at 1am in ’93-’94 or so. The countless “famous” musicians that would be spotted at the shows. Their jaws dropped in amazement. Priceless. As a life long freak of live music…after hundreds of shows, nothing has topped the “acid” experience. Yes, there are extraordinary bands and musicians, past, present and future, and I have been amazed by others, but you deserve the recognition, and I for one am grateful to have experienced the “acid spectacular’s”. I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to get my hands on the album, in addition to any other cd or download recordings. I am happy to purchase, and/or contribute to the process of them getting organized. Peter Savant I wish you well, and if there is a possibility to get the music, please reach out to me. As you can see from the stream above, I am not the only one longing for it! be well

    Hi Peter,
I wrote you a message yesterday but just wanted to contact you again to see if you got it. As I mentioned in my comment yesterday, my husband’s name is Jeff O’Neill and he’s still a huge fan of First House. His birthday is coming up soon (11/7) and the only thing that he’s been asking me for is a copy of your “First House” CD circa 1993 or 94?? You and your band even listed him in the acknowledgements in the cover. I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE!!!! Do you happen to have a copy or can get a copy or anything? Please let me know. My e-mail address is Thanks!
